Do I need to use all of the steps in ANTI-AGE Regimen to get results?

Skipping any one of these steps can minimize results.
When Can I expect to see results from the ANTI-AGE Regimen?
With regular use of the ANTI-AGE Regimen and AMP MD Maximum Delivery System, your skin will become smoother and softer, changes often experienced after the first use. Within two months, your skin will appear firmer, lines and wrinkles will be less noticeable, pores will look tighter, and your complexion will become more luminous and refined. The secret to great skin is consistent care. If you are using ANTI-AGE Regimen, consider adding AMP MD™ Maximum Delivery System to AMP up your anti-aging results. The AMP MD System utilizes a micro-channeling tool to deliver retinol and rejuvenating peptides where they can most effectively provide anti-aging benefits. If you are already using both ANTI-AGE Regimen and AMP MD Maximum Delivery System, continue using both to maintain your results and to further protect the future of your skin.
How often should I use the AMP MD™ Micro-Channeling Tool?
For best results, we recommend that AMP MD be used as directed with the ANTI-AGE Regimen and Night Renewing Serum at least three nights a week and advancing to nightly use as tolerated.
How deep do the ingredients penetrate into the skin when I use AMP MD?
The AMP MD micro-channeling tool is designed to create safe micro-channels in the stratum corneum, the dead outermost layer of the epidermis (the top layer of the skin), but not into the deeper layers. After using AMP MD and applying the potent retinol and peptide complex contained in ANTI-AGE Night Renewing Serum, apply ANTI-AGE Overnight Restorative Cream to seal the micro-channels and fortify the skin’s barrier.
Can I use AMP MD with other products?
AMP MD is clinically tested for use only with the ANTI-AGE Regimen and ANTI-AGE Night Renewing Serum. We do not advise that this tool be used with any other products or medications.
My skin is sensitive, but I am concerned about aging skin. Can I use AMP MD?
AMP MD is not recommended for use on very sensitive skin. With that said, use of AMP MD was not associated with any increase in sensitivity during our clinical trial. By creating precise micro-channels in the top layer of the skin, AMP MD temporarily opens the skin’s protective barrier to allow beneficial ingredients to enter. Sensitive skin, by definition, has a compromised barrier and needs to be strengthened with the OTC recognized skin protectants dimethicone and allantoin, as found in SOOTHE Regimen.
At what age should I begin using ANTI-AGE Regimen and AMP MD?
Rodan + Fields ANTI-AGE Regimen and AMP MD may be utilized by anyone concerned with wrinkles, enlarged pores and loss of firmness.
Can I use AMP MD and ANTI-AGE products in the evening if I am using REVERSE Regimen in the morning?
In order to realize the greatest benefit, we suggest that you first use the REVERSE Regimen to rid your skin of the dull, sun damaged skin that makes your skin look aged. Once your skin has brightened, you may transition to the ANTI-AGE Regimen, and consider adding the AMP MD Maximum Delivery System, to address the other manifestations of aged skin – fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores and loss of firmness.
Can I use AMP MD in the morning?
AMP MD is designed to deliver the anti-aging benefits of the powerful retinol and peptide complex contained in ANTI-AGE Night Renewing Serum. Because sleeping increases skin’s receptivity of beneficial ingredients, AMP MD and ANTI-AGE Night Renewing Serum are best used in the evening. Always apply a sunscreen in the morning because retinol may increase photo-sensitivity and sun exposure diminishes the efficacy of retinol.
Can I use AMP MD AMP MD System to correct my post-acne indented scars?
If your skin is free of acne, you may utilize the ANTI-AGE AMP MD System and ANTI-AGE Regimen to help smooth texture, increase firmness, promote evenness of skin, and decrease the appearance of pores. However, if you are still experiencing breakouts, we suggest that you utilize the UNBLEMISH Regimen to address the complex issues associated with acne: red inflammation, excess oil and post-acne dark marks. We do not recommend using ANTI-AGE AMP MD on active acne, as this may exacerbate your already inflamed skin.
Can I use the ANTI-AGE AMP MD System on my arms, neck, hands and décolleté?
Yes. These areas also exhibit the signs of aging: loss of firmness, increased pore size and visible fine lines and wrinkles. Use the ANTI-AGE Regimen and AMP MD System as directed and be aware that the neck and décolleté area may be more sensitive than other areas. We recommend that you follow directions and use as tolerated.
When I used the ANTI-AGE Regimen and AMP MD System for the first time my face felt tingly. What should I do?
Your skin may be adjusting to the treatment and products. However, if you feel anything uncomfortable, such as stinging, burning, swelling, itching or redness that persists for more than a few minutes, we suggest that you discontinue use of the ANTI-AGE products and AMP MD System.
To access sensitivity, follow these instructions for three days, three times a day on the jaw line or neck:
- Apply a small amount of the cleanser for 30 seconds then rinse it off.
- Use AMP MD in an up and back motion for a total of 4 times.
- Apply each product on a small separate area to determine whether it is a single product causing the sensitivity.
When you test again, re-apply the products over themselves. - Watch for a product reaction: redness, dryness, irritation, itching, or swelling.
Do not use any products that irritate your skin. If the products are tolerated, try them again without utilizing the AMP MD for 3 days then try the AMP MD as directed.
