Hi! Stacy and Ross Gibby here. StayHot SkinCare is our team of independent skin care consultants for Rodan and Fields.

When my husband Ross learned about Rodan + Fields, he was primarily excited about the home-based business opportunity. When he shared the information with me, I was primarily excited about the skincare products.

Having been raised in Venezuela, Brazil, Mexico and West Texas (and currently living in Southern California), exposure to the sun has always been something that’s been difficult to avoid. When I was growing up I didn’t fully realize how damaging the sun could be, but I always made an effort to protect myself and take care of my skin. Hats, industrial strength sunblock and nightly facial scrubbing has been the routine for years.

But as Rodan and Fields point out, just 20 minutes of daily sun exposure over the course of a year is equivalent to a two week beach vacation, spending eight hours a day sunbathing without protection. Like most people, my skin eventually started to show the signs, mainly in the form of brown spots. When I discovered that Rodan + Fields created the REVERSE Regimen to treat sun damage with a dermatology-based, clinically-proven system, I was thrilled.

The opportunity to improve the healthy look of my skin while helping to support my family made Rodan + Fields the perfect fit for me. And while starting a home based business isn’t something I imagined I’d be doing, my background as a theatre stage manager as well as being a full-time mom has helped me stay organized and focused in building the StayHot Skincare team.

Prior to having two children, Ross and I lived in New York City for 10 years. I worked as an Off-Broadway stage manager and have been fortunate enough to work with such theatre greats and popular actors as Linda Lavin, Benjamin Bratt, Julianna Marguiles, Anna Paquin, Philip Seymour Hoffman and others. Ross worked as an actor both Off-Broadway and on television. His most well known role is as Brad the Bad Kisser from “Sex and the City”, but he’s also done a lot of crime dramas. We are Currently living outside of Los Angeles in the city of Santa Clarita. Ross continues to act while running a small web media firm and I have my hands full with the kids. We both contribute as much time as possible to growing our Rodan + Fields business and love the fact that we are working together again (we met doing a play together in 1996)!
